MIKE KAGEE FOR WORLD FASHION TRENDS

The starting point of the Dolce&Gabbana 2012/2013
menswear collection in Milan was strong and renowned
for masculine tailoring tradition which is evolved in volumes
and processes experimenting in new cuts and embroidery until
they have a life on their own.
A history that from it's own past finds the impulse to always
look for something new......

   THE COAT

The coat is the protagonist of the menswear collection
made in different shapes and in various proportions
as well as the cape called the Tistera typically found
    on the Sicilian country side.

      FABRICS

Typical of Italian tradition but processed and
treated in new ways (Boiled, painted, aged)
such as pinstripe, herringbone, velvet and
Prince of Wales with which jackets, coats
      and pants are made.
      Precious Baroque inspired embroideries are
      all made of filigree threads.

          SHAPES

Shapes are the natural evolution of Italian tailoring
tradition so evident in a Dolce&Gabbana collection.

              ACCESSORIES

Shoes embroided and charactised  by garters worn over
painted and rounded toe-shoes. Also present are Sicilian
            caps and romantic ribbon bow-ties.

             COLOUR PALETTE

All the grey hues with hints of bordeaux
              dark green and camel

Sountrack from Giuseppe Verdi by Luciano Pavarotti

  1. I'm very happy to read this. This is the type of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that's at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.
