THE LITTLE BLACK JACKET
Through over a hundred years photographer Karl Lagerfeld
pays tribute to Chanel's Little Black Jacket created during
the fiftees by Mademoiselle Chanel. The jacket has been endlessly
reinvented by Karl Lagerfeld in each of his collections ever since 1983, for the most part in the fundamental Chanel colour Black
In the little black jacket Chanel was revisted by Karl Lagerfeld
and fashion/editor Carine Roitield. The jacket is adapted by some
of todays personalities and was worn differently in the contemporary culture and slipped on by French singer Vanessa Paradis and was also transformed into a headdress for American

actress Sarah Jessica Parker and adapted to
Alice Delal's neo-punk look. The fashion
masterpiece was adapted to any style......
