MENSWEAR BESPOKE COLLECTION
THE OSWALD BOATENG
SPRING/SUMMER 2012
MENSWEAR COLLECTION
SHOT IN SOWETO, SOUTH AFRICA

This special bespoke menswear collection was created by
famous London based Ghanaian fashion designer who soared
to great heights. He was also Creative Director for Givenchy
from 2004 to 2007. To this day he remains the only designer
of colour on Saville Row in London and has been referred to as
being the answer to Tom Ford. Africa has always been of
utmost significance to Ozwald Boateng not strictly from an
ancestral perspective but also regards it as a continent of many
prospects. Boateng started his career making brightly coloured
suits with fitted silhouettes and he has always pushed the
parameters of what masculinity really is.
      THE COLLECTION REPRESENTS A EUROPEAN
TAKE WITH AN AFRICAN AESTHETIC ......
