Even though most of the International
Couture and Men's Bespoke collections
are not necessarily designed by
Parisians as for example a Ghanian
Bespoke designer for Saville Row
Legendry German designer
Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel
Belgian designer Raf Simons for Dior
eponymous Jean Paul Gaultier
who just happen's to be French
and the leader of Italian Bespoke
and Couture Giorgio Armani
Some designers use Haute Couture
as a guideline or as an inspiration
to develop Ready-To-Wear
collections with an edge.
Men's Bespoke Collections as well
as Haute Couture is vital in the
fashion business as it creates
a certain standard and even though
such collections are not really copied
it gets turned into wearable pieces
of art of a very high standard and
what constitutes Couture and Bespoke
in a modern sense.
The definition of Couture is vague
as well as Bespoke for men because
it goes back to the 19th century
and was the only form of fashion then.
Cheap has always come to mind in
corporate business and when such
Haute Couture and Bespoke collections
are acquired or bought Couture gets
absorbed and gets turned into
affordable Ready-To-Wear collections.
Often Haute Couture and Bespoke
collections are being used to promote
fragrances and cosmetic collections!
After all we all have to make a living
but for the survival of Haute Couture
and Men's Bespoke we need to keep
Paris alive.
