       We are seeing an increasing focus on men in
     fashion as fashion was once seen as almost
     a 'women's domain'
     At the highest levels, the fashion industry is
     relatively insulated from economic changes
     and men in fashion is no different. 
     For example recessionary fears in the global
     world have done nothing to harm fashion which
     is seeing an increase in customers especially men.
     We will eventually see the death of the metrosexual
     man and fashion will become the needs of all men.
     However in the past years men as a whole have
     begun to pay more attention to their appearance
     and the fashion industry has responded by focusing
     on the new male clientele.
     We are not only talking about the nouveau riche
     developing an appetite for high fashion but
     also the average man in the street or boardroom
     who now sees fashion as a status symbol.
