BLACK TIE EVENT
GO FOR BROWN
This time around we predict that brown eveningwear will break in a big way,
either worn as a standout smoking jacket or as a full tux with co-ordinating trim
ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
The bold colour to make an impression for Autumn/Winter 2014/15
is the colour orange
A new take is the tracksuit-particularly those slim jogging bottoms
but occasional bursts cropped across the board, a pair of amber chinos
with a light grey blazer is the way to go
BIG BOXY BAGS
Good news for gym obsessives and hoarders, next season's hand luggage
is oversized and overtly practical. Just thing of how much you can stuff
into those big leather bags and still look smart
KEEP THE GANGSTER
If you are going to invest in one accessory next season, make it a felt fedora
Not only did we see a strong showing on this particular hat on the catwalks
but -thanks to the weather there is a whole lot on the streets of London
SLIM TROUSERS ARE BACK
Remember the loose trousers they have been filtering through the past
season, well designers called an end to this trend. Sixtees stove-pipe
trousers are back with a vengeance, cropped around the ankle with way
bigger, bulkier layers on top. For style inspiration look at the Beatles era 1964
INVEST IN A RAGLAN SLEEVE RAINCOAT
This upcoming season outerwear is less structured with sharp shoulders
giving way to raglan sleeves(that is when the shoulder sleeves runs
diagonally from your armpit to your neck)
PROTECT YOUR NECK
Tough season for vampires
While big-knit fisherman's jumpers will be essential for your downtime,
we suggest you try slipping fine guage roll neck under your black tie attire
instesd of a traditional bowtie, as seen in the Tom Ford collection
CLEAN SHAVEN AND A WET LOOK
Got a beard, it might be worth dusting off your razor
If you are looking to change-up your look
Take your cues from these smart, side parted
looks above!
SEE EVERYTHING IN BLACK&WHITE BELOW
One of the big suprises for Autumn/Winter 2014-2015
was seeing alot of menswear designers famed their
love of colour swing to the opposite end of the spectrum
from Tom Ford to E Tautz all black outfits on the runways
were prolific and livened up with black and white trim
