My many years of being in the high-fashion and
creative industry has made me realize how
important it is be hands on in your business and
change the grey suited mentality of some investors
and to change the on going perceptions of
creatives as a whole.
Creativity is thought to be the central component
of design and often creativity is misunderstood
as a exceptional phenomenon or a gift that some
people have and some people don't.
My close affiliation with independent companies
has given me the confidence and opportunity to
grow creatively without being stifled and allowed
me to have a mind of my own, also to develop
business skills.
The legendary designer Coco Chanel understood
this reality and once said...
Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only
Fashion is something in the air, it is a wind that
blows in new fashion, you feel it coming, you smell
it in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with
ideas, the way we live, what is happening.

The fashion industry internationally including
Africa makes and enormous amount each new
season and creative cycle and also substantial
profits each year, it is important to stay ahead
of the competition through creative and marketing
prowess.
Creativity and a strong business sense is a
collaborative offer. The Louis Vuitton 2013
Ready To Wear collection was a great learning
curve in the fashion industry, creative genius
Marc Jacobs by absolute default and saw this move as an impulse got the models including super model
Kate Moss to walk through many doors and use
it as a Runway.
The main idea behind this is to open your own door!
