      Colours are however important as they create the mood in 
     fashion. They also dictate trends and style. For the new Fall/
     Winter 2013-2014 colder season colours are muted and a lot
     softer according to Pantone highlighting the idea of elegance
     and femininity. Fall/Winter 2013-2014 colours are vibrant
     varied, exciting and rich, promising to make your styling a whole
     lot more inspirational than you can imagine.
     Below we take a look at the hottest Fall/Winter 2013-2014
     colours according to the Pantone University



      
    Emerald Green- This marvelous Emerald Green makes a 
    flawless transition from Summer to Fall, bringing a touch of
    elegance and refinement to our wardrobes, Appropriate for both
    everyday wear and special occasions, emerald green fascinates
    and sparkles anytime of the year, it makes a combination with
    purple, blue, orange, yellow, white and other natural shades
   This year emerald green also comes in a variety of shades,
    such as sea green or jade.
    Emerald green can be seen in Prada and Oscar De La Renta
    Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collections!


   
   Linden Green- It seems that Fall/Winter 2013-2014 is going
   to be a season of greens, since the colour trends reveal different
   stunning shades of green of which Linden green is the lightest one
   The lovely yellow toned green brightens up the rich Fall colours
   bringing a touch of romanticism to early Fall
   Linden Green can be seen in the Missoni and Rodarte
   collections



   Deep Lichen Green-Very close to dark olive and light
   camouflage, deep Lichen Green is the colour of the moss and
   very relevant to khaki, it's the third trendy green for Fall/Winter
   2013-2014 which is a bit complex to wear since it tends to make
   your skin a little pale, even giving it an earthy glow!
   Vivacious deep Lichen Green makes pairs with other Fall/Winter
   colours such as koi, turbulence grey and linden green.
   Can be seen in Kenneth Cole, Gucci, Givenchy 
   and other collections.


   
   Acai Purple-This elegant Purple is obliged to Acai Berries
    Being a mixture of blueberry, purple and black, acai purple
    is exotic, mystic, radiant and magical.
    Seen in Alberta Ferretti, Guy Laroche and Balmain collections 
     

   
    Mykonos Blue-named after the beautiful and iconic Greek
    island Mykonos. The Fall/Winter 2013-2014 blue colour choice
    is moody, mediative and universally flattering, it matches perfectly
    with emerald green and turbulence grey.
    Seen in Chanel, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and Balenciaga
    collections.



    Samba Red-Dramatic, bold and extravagant. Samba red 
     becomes an instant eye-opener especially when you are wearing
     distracting accessories. Red is a preferred hue for many fashion
     designers for Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collections.
     A little red dress is a must-have for this season.

     Koi Orange-the colour Koi Orange is named the brightest of 
     tropical fish which catches the eye with it's dazzling shimmering
     orange. The colour looks incredible with dark tones such as
     green, blue, purple and grey.

    Carafe Brown-another great colour at Fall/Winter 2013-2014
    collections. Symbolizing femininity, sophistication and elegance.
    Carafe Brown or coffee is another hot colour!
    The colour comes in variations which are cinnamon, brandy
    and burgundy.
    Seen in Donna Karan, Lanvin and Prada collections.



     Turbulence Grey-universally flattering and relevant at all times.
     Turbulence is a dark mercurial grey and is a big colour treat
     this Fall/Winter 2013-2014 
  .  Versatile and elegant matched with samba red, acai purple
     koi, mykonos blue and emerald green.
     Seen in Alexis Mable, Christian Dior and Max Mara
     collections.



    Yellow Fashion-takes a new turn in Fall/Winter 2013-2014
    It is used mainly for brightening up your cold season looks!

   Milk-this timeless and stylish white colour gets warmer and
   lighter in Fall/Winter 2013-2014 
   The colour white is being replaced by a milky white shade.
    Seen in Valentino and Daria Bardeeva collections!



    Black And White-fashion would be incomplete without the
    classic white and new black colours! Think graphic in black
    and white. Seen in Christian Dior, Rodarte, Valentino
   and Helmut Lang collections.



    Aquamarine-is the last colour forcast in the Pantone colour
    forecast for Fall/Winter 2013-2014
    The cold season also brings us pastel shades mainly in outerwear
    Aquamarine is an impressive colour and has a combination of
    blue, green, turquoise and lavender.
