Re-invent yourself, create clothes for your
collections immediately. According to world
fashion leaders it is important not to be on trend
and receive collections the same time as every-
body else as fashion trends and colour palette's
are predicted six months before the time which
makes most collections look the same.
The turnaround time for creating ready to wear
collections should be at least six weeks.
If you look at the success of most of the European
fashion houses it is because of speediness of
production and the way it reaches the stores
satisfying the customer base that want to buy
product for immediate delivery which is much
larger than the customer base that is willing to
wait six months down the line.
It also reduces the risk of getting stock that needs
to be marked down at the end of the season.
WHY ARE WE MAKING THESE
CHANGES?
SHOULDN'T WE JUST FOCUS
ON OUR ORIGINAL BUSINESS MODEL
AND SIMPLY ADD NEW BRANDS
AND CUSTOMERS?
ACCORDING TO MODUS OPERANDI
THE ANSWER IS NO!
THE IDEA IS TO SEIZE LARGER
OPPORTUNITIES...........
